The other day, I was dashing out the front door at 7 a.m. when I heard these little feet patter up behind me. Savena's normally still in bed at this time, but it was Friday, so she was up and getting ready for Mark to give her a bath. Anyway, I turned around to see the squid smiling up at me like she wanted to say goodbye. I kneeled down and was about to give her a hug when she planted a kiss right on my lips, turned and sped off across the living room. Awwww. (Cue the angels). Talk about making your day start on the right foot! It certainly made mine. :-)
